Dan Hochheiser has been my attorney for over 5 years. Every time I have needed him he has come through - with flying colors. In 2008, I was arrested in the wake of a string of arrests associated with providing Former Gov. Eliot Spitzer with call girls. I made the mistake of hiring another attorney because he told me what I wanted to hear. This attorney, Mark J. Heller, stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from my family and left me sitting to rot in Riker's Island for close to 4 months. We later found out that he had been suspended for 5 years with 18 different plaintiffs against him for stealing bail money and not showing up for their trial dates. After 3 months of sitting in jail, I came back to Dan and within 4 business days he got me out on reduced bail and back at home with my family. He fought hard for me to get released which wasn't easy because the former attorney had thoroughly bumbled my case and pissed off the A.D.A. Dan was with me every step of the way from calling from jail in tears to negotiating my plea, negotiating my bail and even helped me put my life back together and got me off probation 2 years early.
